OK Riders

As you may well know Chris's last run will be at 1200 on Tuesday the 22nd June. His family has asked for a bike presence and to be in Hemel Hampstead at the meet point for 1100.

Therefore my Plan is.

Meet at Pease Pottage at 0900
Suit and Boot 0915

Rigate J8 M25 0945
Suit an Boot 1000


Arrive Hemel Hampstead 1050

Please let me know if a, your going and b, if you will be meeting up with us at either location.

Where would you suggest to meet up from my neck of the woods... Clacketts isnt practical...

I would be coming up from the A21 OR M20...

I really dont want to mis this..

This one would seem best Brigg, it won't really take you off the main route.

If you pull off at junction 8 and go to the roundabout above the M25 there's an area you can pull in over to the left and loiter. I guess that's where Charlie is talking about but if not I'm sure he'll put us right.

Hi Phil, being a bit thick here -but Reigate for Hemel, isnt that heading West instead of East and the D/ford toll...

West is what the route planner says for me so it will certainly be the way for Charlie. :)

I suppose in the scheme of things you are about half way for that route on the 25 as to make no odds... (except congestion by M40 turn off)..

I have been asked to assist with marshalling duties therefore I will be leaving an hour earlier than stated, new plan as below.


My New Plan is.

Meet at Pease Pottage at 0800
Suit and Boot 0815

Rigate J8 M25 0845 (if any takers!)
Suit an Boot 0900


Arrive Hemel Hampstead 1015

Wormy and P, Kim and I will be at the Travelodge 0.7 miles from the Park monday night, dont fancy a 2 hour ride on the M25 that time of day Tues.

As is usual for me I never know what I'm doing until I've done it Charlie, however, if things go to plan I'll be riding up, but I'm sure I can find my own way if I can't make your planned meeting times.
