Won't bother me, my old shogun go's every where. Should have charged for the number of people i towed out the other week. Including one of those large Merc AA vans up hill. Mind you not much point having a xmas dinner on your own.

Just got back home after not making it up to London.
A24 impassable at Warnham, ( not dual carriageway!)
A23 not moving both ways at Handcross Hill, (BBC Trafffic news)
A27 closed at Falmer, due to earlier accident.

Never mind, the sun is shinning in Worthing!:p

We'll keep our fingers crossed for tonight.

I have just walked up to the A265 (Burwash Road) as it goes through Broad Oak, the road is slushy but quite passable. There was quite a bit of traffic including a couple of lorries and it was passing along ok. Of course the smaller roads are diabolical in true Sussex fashion so keep off them. Asking about in the local Spar I am told that the road from Eastbourne (A267) is also slushy but ok. Horam (past Wessons - B2203 - up the hill to Heathfield) is slippery but should be ok as long as it doesn't freeze too much. Should you wish to bypass Horam and miss out the hill, staying on the A267 through Little London to Cross in Hand to where where it joins the A265, it is slushy but ok.

Of course this 'slushy' is as now. When it freezes more it will be icy so be prepared.

I don't have any info on the A265 from the A21 end. Early on it was not good from Hurst Green down the hill into Etchingham, maybe Mike has some better info (assuming he can get out from the farm :p)

I know that I'm not booked but had in mind to come on offchance at least for the socialise but definately will not try - its not the getting there, its the getting back I'm worried about. Mike, you'd better unlock the "NOT a clubhouse" just in case?
