Bike Tax on the internet

First time for me I have just taxed my bike from 1st March. 1 year £60.00 on the www.direct.gov.uk/taxdisc website easy peasy..

MOT is due on 24 th March so at least I am taxed for the year and worry about the MOT next month. I decided to put in the mileage which was optional. Coming up to 33k glad they don't tax according to mileage. Well I suppose they do what with the petrol/tax I have used in it.

Good set-up that eh! did that myself on line recently.

Only thing is you have to have the new style reg. doc. to allow you to do it saves the hastle of goin tae the post office and standin' in line with all the 'oldies' who are collectin there pensions.;)

I got my new tax this way recently. They already know all about the insurance you've got. Creepy!

Traffic patrols scan plates automatically and continuously with their on-board computer.
Flags up any reg's that aren't insured and more.

There is little you can get away with these days.

No charge from your bank account on a switch / delta card. But yes they would charge for a credit card.
