Anyone seen the V-Rod Springer 330 at TV Harley?

Ok - so it's priced at 25K but I think it looks kinda cool!

It's a VRSCB with a springer front and a bloody great 330 rear tyre. Pipes are Rineharts but wound with bandage.

All black & de-chromed as well.

Complete mix of styles but I like it!

The pics on their web site really don't do it any justice

Re: Anyone seen the V-Rod Springer 330 at TV Harley?

I saw this some months ago when I popped in whilst passing.

I couldn't quite beleive what I was seeing when I first saw it.

For me that front end just don't belong on that bike. Left me feeling absolutely cold, sub zero. It's like someone had more money than sense and just threw money at it to make something very different but a bit ridiculous in my opinion.

Rear end was nice but overall prefer the VRSCB in standard trim - I think that sums it up for me.;)

Well... in the hope you were seeking feedback Barrie!! ...

An absolute abortion. You could fit a scooter in that gap between rear fender and tyre. And given the rocket science (seriously, folks) that went into designing the handling of the V-Rod, WTF would anybody put a front fork on it that in ****1948!!****** was replaced even by the neanderthals at Harley because it performed poorly compared with the new telescopic internal springs.

A typical dealership ''custom'' nailed together to fool a rich newbie into thinking he is getting something ''unique''.

<huge bloody sigh and roll of eyes>

He is. Because no one else would want one.

Oh yeah, and that stupid rear tyre is just in time for THAT new craze, innit?

PS: I like a springer on a chop or bobber.

Yuk!!
What's the point...?!!
Not particularly a fan of the V-Rod but the Taylormade version at last year's Bulldog was more like it to my eyes.

Yay - I knew someone would bite - lol!

I genuinely think it looks better in the flesh than the pics but not at all sure what it would look like out on the road!

Thumbs down Re: Anyone seen the V-Rod Springer 330 at TV Harley?

OK, so it's a matter of personal choice, but why take the only modern Harley, and try to pretend it's a bobber?
Been slapped with the ugly stick, that's for sure, and a clear case of let's do it because it can be done, and not because there's any point (except that some numbskull with more money than sense will come along and buy it, just so he'll have the only one on the block).
The Springer front end's bad enough, but the wadding on the pipes?
Gimme a break!
(Is there a Smiley for two fingers down the throat....? )

Thanx Ming!:

Sorry moley, i think the taste police are coming for you. Michael Gambon looked better in 'the singing detective' swathed in all those bandages. It really is one ugly mother.

Who on earth thought this one up?
It looks like a time warp crash between the Star Ship Enterprize and Henry Ford................... sorry it's not for me, both ends look right on their own respective bikes, but not toghter..........
