Hi all

Hi all
seems like a most excellent site.

Finally come to my senses after years of those Japanese thingies (and a bit of German) - picked up the Road King last weekend and the grin hasn't subsided yet !

Re: Hi all

Magick - you're right about the weather - bit worried about road salt on the shiny bits.

I'm in the Peterborough area, so anyone local will probably hear me rumbling around.

Don't worry, just spend on ACF50 or the Scottoil spray or S100. The latest thinking seems to be the non-oily non-pentrating stuff (the latter two) is best.

Re: Hi all

Thanks Mike - that is very useful - I was given a can of some anti-rust spray by the dealer I bought my bike off but I havent used it yet - as the bike is parked outside all year round I need some good stuff to make sure it doesnt rust
