Spring Rideout - Sun 23rd April

Sunday 23rd April - St Georges Day.
Meeting at Hark to Bounty pub in Slaidburn (Trough of Bowland B6478) at 1.00pm for a bite to eat and a chin wag, then a Dales rideout for a couple of hours through the afternoon.
Go on. You know you want to .

Re: Spring Rideout - Sun 23rd April

Just thought I'd raise the profile of next Sunday's trip to the Trough of Bowland. Lunch at the Hark to Bounty in Slaidburn at 1.00pm followed by a ride round the Yorks/Lancs borders. Couldn't wish for better .

If any folk want to meet at mine for 12.00 you're very welcome. PM me for details and directions.

Sorry Alex, we won't be joining you as my shoulder is still bad I can't even get up out of the chair without help so riding the bike is a no no

Have a good one

Re: Spring Rideout - Sun 23rd April

Thanks for the call yesterday, Alex.
I'm afraid when you and the guys arrive at mine for 12.00 we won't have time for much more than a pit stop (top of the stairs, first right) before heading off, stopping for you boys to get some fuel then making it to Slaidburn for lunch at 1.00pm. FXSTC Dave will be here as well so should be a nice tour out of Blackburn and through the Ribble Valley.

Anyone else from the region up for joining in the fun send me a PM and I'll give directions to mine in Blackburn - meeting at 12.00.

Re: Spring Rideout - Sun 23rd April

Sounds like a nice idea, Swampy. After lunch I guess there'll be a bit of a rideout, but if there's any boys fancy coming back to B'burn late afternoon I'll bring 'em along .
