Would that have been a rather large red motorcycle, that had four wheels, a cab, room for a few helmeted mates and could carry rather a lot of water by any chance?

Re: I A M

Bear in mind though that you can do all the I A M courses you want, very valuable though they are. But you have still got to put in the years and the miles on the road to gain that extra something that increases your survival odds. There are no short cuts.

I am a Rospa Gold rider and also a Rospa Advanced Rider Instructor- and I do the instructing on the harley!

You have to retake the Rospa test every three years.

The good thing about advanced riding is it is a way of thinking that improves your riding skills, which when put with solid mileage in all conditions on every variety of road possible, should make you a safer rider.

Listen to what your observer and instructors tell you and don't be afraid to ask questions especially if you are not sure of something, they are there to help you and improve your riding.
The better you get the more critical they get, but remember no one is 100% all the time.
The key to most advanced riding is observation and forward planning, mileage and experience alone don’t necessarily make you a good rider.
