Thumbs up Ride outs

I'd like to remind everybody that if they have an idea for a ride out destination then please let me know, as I'll have plenty of spare time (we're in between courses at work) in the next 8 weeks to plan and ride some routes.
All I need is your ideas, please ;)

Spen

Re: Ride outs

Ok, so it's up to me

Right if you want a ride out then I can do you one, just a short one though (40 ish miles) to a little Bar/Cafe (food till 8pm & bar till 11pm) on the coast.
Note this is not a trip to Skeg or Mabo'

Please let me know (before Tuesday) if any one is interested so that I can get some instructions posted.

Don't forget if you want one then it's up to you to let me know.
Email, PM or phone - just let me know

Thumbs up Re: Ride outs

Hi Spen....Spen.....Spen.....Spen.....its echoing in here! Suggest that you just sort the route out and at the next meeting we just say that we're going then and there and just go for it. I think most would go - (especially if there's a pub at the end of it!) it's just that they probably cant be arsed with the web site!

Re: Ride outs

I wouldn't want to go to far as it might put too many miles on my harley and it wouldn't break down like what them real harley's do.

Re: Ride outs

Spen,

would love the ride out but need to persuade the ayatollah that going on the temp ride, a Bandit 600 or something is a good idea.Lets just say that she isn't overly endeared with the seating position for the pillion on the steed of the rising sun

Any ride outs may have to wait till the FLHS is fixed

Panda

PS, with regards a possible ride out, seeing how this is the bomber county, how about a route around some of the old bases, would provide some good scenic routes with a nice little country pub always close to hand in case we needed it or has this been done before?

At last a suggestion Thanks

I like this one, looks like it's out with the maps and see what I can do

Thanks for that

Looks like that might be a nice little run, down the 15 then a short hop on the 52.

I'll have to see what I can do
