Great shame

It's been announced, http://www.rossendale-bikeshow.co.uk/index.htm, that the 2006 Rossendale show has been postponed until next year, 8th April 2007.

Anybody that has been to Rawtenstall will know what a good day it is. Whether you join one of the ride-ins or just walk around the town, especially as it's closed to traffic and dedicated to bikes and bikers.

So pop it in your diary for next year.

Re: Great shame

Good point Harry. At least it gives them time to make sure that doesn't happen in April '07

Re: Great shame

It all started to go down hill when they made bikes pay for parking in the town ! last year they were even charging pedestrians entry, a good day out ruined by greed if you ask me

Re: Great shame

You're right Pete, I just hope that common sense prevails and they don't ruin a day I've always enjoyed for the sake of squeezing a few extra bob out of people.

Re: Great shame

Was at my local MAG meet the other day and apparently the April '07 date is under review. Rossendale Bike Show was planned for Easter Sunday and the churches have a problem with that.
