Ok bit of infomation required, we are planning on a visit to the Canaries, Tenerife seems the best choice. Got 7 days off running from 26th November and cannot change, also its Sals Birthday on the 30th.
Found a good package price self catering at Los Cristianos.

So knowing some of you have visited the Island and even live there, is package the way to go or get a flight and book a hotel on the net? Anybody recomend a resort? I can never sit still when I am away, where Sal is happy to sit in the sun?

Hi Llew. Well it all depends how much you want to spend. Los Cristianos is very nice as long as it's only for a max of two weeks. Looking at the time you want to go you can get flights from as little as £80 each return from Brum, now thats cheep. In a good way that says to me, 1.. That the hotels are not full, and they will drop the prices. If i were you mate book flights then book accom over the net. Look up some places mate and let me know your choices before booking and i can tell you were they are and whats close by. The best beaches are in Los Americas and Fanabe however Los Cristianos has a nice beach but can be a little windy. I was located in Costa Del Silencio about 45 min by bus from Los Cristianos costing 1 euro 50 cent. Or 15 min ride in a taxi for 25 euros. If you want kick back then its away from the huzzle of the main tourist areas but well within easy travel distance. Accom there would be fare better and alot cheeper.
