Another Northern Newbie

..just saying hello

I live in deepest Northumberland near Haltwhistle, and am pretty new to Harleys.

Just out of interest, do we have an Indie Harley dealer anywhere in the North?

Re: Another Northern Newbie

sorry Yawner, been away on hols....welcome to the site.

cheers for the reference Dan!

Twin Cities on the Bede Industrial Estate, Jarrow, about half a mile from the southern entrance to the Tyne Tunnel, are our friendly local unauthorised dealer.

Cheaper than dealership for servicing by a long ways, and they do a lot of biz with not only the likes of us but HOG members also, so if they can pinch HOG money from the dealership....

They are on 0191 4300060

No other shops that I know between Scotch Corner and the Scots border. But there are privateers around...for instance, I know of one factory-trained mechanic who works from home in the North East.

Hope this helps. If you are free this weekend, come and join us at Oswestry!

Hi Yawner, &

As Dave says, Twin Cities are a gret alternative to Just Harleys. I was given a card recently (Which I've scanned below) for a new independant. I have not tried them myself so can't say what they are like.
