| Re: Homepage Hijack Go to internet options and click reset web settings. I always open on blank as I do not want to wait for a homepage to load.

| Re: Homepage Hijack This MAY sort it??? Go to START>>>> CONTROL PANEL>>> click on ![]() then you will see this: ![]() delete cookies >> delete files and clear history. take out the highjack address in the top where mine says http://www.hdrcgb.org.uk/etc etc..... and put in the address you want the Int Explorer to open up in. | Re: Homepage Hijack Thanks for the replies guys. The 2 simple fixes did not work, whatever homepage i changed it to, it simply changed it back when i entered internet explorer. Sal, yours looked scarey so i was taking the time to read it through but as a last resort i downloaded ewido anti spyware which i got from the stick thread ' free security products '. Full system scan and it found it and deleted it. Taken me all bloody day Thanks |

| Re: Homepage Hijack Best to download and run this in the background, once you enable protection it runs in the background without you doing anything. Keep it manually updated once a week or so, tis free. It'll stop, or help stop it happening again: SpywareBlaster 3.5.1 |
