Harley /Norton Cafe Racer

Nice article in "Classic Bike Guide" about a 1970 XLCH engine slotted into a Norton Featherbed frame.
Also a bit about Lance Weil who used to race one over here in the 60s.

May be of some interest to you Kiwi D.

That sounds good.like the old Norvin.I knew a bloke who had one made by Jeff Darren in Sandwich awsome.I also saw Lance Weil race at Lydden ,never forget it...

thanks Chilly, an interesting mix to be sure.

Common mistake - Kiwi is Graeme from Nottingham
Kiwidave is, er, me from Whitley Bay

We are, of course, both transplanted colonials who like many Kiwis love the older bikes!
