Downsizing photos with a Mac

Just came across "Downsize" from Shirt Pocket software. So easy for resizing photos to get under the limit for photo uploading to this site.

Re: Downsizing photos with a Mac

or I do this: (maybe this is quicker......or longer??)

click on the required image in your iPhoto library

hold down Apple, Shift and E for Export

alter the image dimensions to whatever you want i.e. a to turn a 2.2MB image into 150KB, reduce to about 550 in the first ''new dimensions'' box and the second box automatically adjusts pro rata

give it a name, export to desktop, then upload it to photobucket before cutting and pasting the photobucket url in here

Cheers Dave. I should of mentioned that Downsize can do batches straight out of iPhoto and creates a folder on your desktop. So if you've got a few to do it makes it a bit easier.
