a wee story...

started off like this bog standard fxrs-sp,

i had a rough idea the way i wanted this bike to look, but beware before anyone undertakes even a menial task, think everything through, as u may or may not know if you alter one thing it inevitable leads to other things coming into play, such as wiring ,llonger cables, making brackets etc, so have a clear piture in your head before ye start;)
first off started by lowerin suspension by 2 inches, front n rear, next was to fit the apehangers, which meant moving wiring running them inside bars, longer cables ,brake lines,

after sorting that out forwards, get a couple o spacers made up,bit of 1/4"plate,trial fitting then weld them up,

gear selector side,

brake side,

alot tidier front end if u ask me,

next came the paint and new badges, and fitting cables,

all fitted oan, and new single seat ,that jist left new exhausts,

new 2 1/4 inch exhausts

next up a wee try oot, worked fine and dandy,
next up will be when finances divtate, custom rigid frame kicker box, upswept pipes, wire wheels, etc old skool bobber,is what i eventually have in mind

Re: a wee story...

Nice one Dan,

Wish I could ride with me legs out straight like that ....rather than them tucked up round me arse

Tis one of the problems when you've got such long legs
