| Re: Custom Insurance Same here Neil,at one time a good few years ago she reckoned that someone who customises their bikes most probably looks after it better than a bog standard one, therefore a better risk,i reckon its just who you get on the phone there now as to what deal you get. Got all mine with Footman James but thats on Classic Ins. 0845 3308424. Or - Bikesure - who reckon to do Custom bikes (BSH Advert) iv'e never used them meself. 0800 089 2000 Worth a try, good luck Chill |

| Re: Custom Insurance Thanks very much for those suggestions. I will do some digging around. Maybe as I get older my perception of what is expensive is getting distorted! Yvonne ![]() |

| Re: Custom Insurance We use Bikesure in almost all circumstances. I think they have a 25 grand limit so when they ask you how much it's worth, make sure you don't say any more than 25 grand. Their number is 0800 0898070. The good thing about this lot is that you can have it valued by an After-Market dealer, NOT your Harley dealer. Most After-Market shops will not charge you for the valuation. |

| Re: Custom Insurance If it's registered as a Harley then HD's brokered insurance can often be surprisingly good for customised bikes. Does mean you need to get it valued by an HD dealership and some of these will charge for the service (although some will do it for free if you're a regular cutomer for either parts or bikes!).
