What will it be?

My mate wants to build a chop from catalogue parts.....just buy everything and bolt it together. He reckons it will be a Harley when he's finished it. Actually there won't be any Harley parts on it at all. The frame will be from a book and the engine will be Revtech, everthing else will be whatever takes his eye in the various after market world.

My question is....what make of bike will it be registered as on the reg document when it goes on the road....I've got £100 on this to say it aint a Harley.
Please tell me I'm right....I can get some more chrome for my RK then.

Brian.

It'll be a Harley.

PS. Ask him to send me £50 in the post after you paid up.

It won't be registered as a Harley unless he can produce documents supporting it; like a MSO for the frame etc from Harley-Davidson.

I had a similar problem with a custom bike and had to register the bike using the chassis manufacturers name.

Apart from it now costing him £100, I don't think it will cause him any problems.

My invoice for that is in the post.
