As usual, the December meet will take place on first Thursday of the month, which falls on the 3rd.

As this will be the last time we officially meet until the new year, i thought it might be nice to turn it into a Xmas meal as well as a drink & natter.

There is a 2 course option at £19.95 and a 3 course option at £25.95.

The menu is as follows:

Starters:
Roasted tomato and basil soup
Duck liver pate, red onion chutney and warm toast
Tuna & mixed bean salad
Cajon chicken skewers with a sweet chilli dip

Main:
Tradition roast turkey, sage stuffing, sausages wrapped in bacon, cranberry sauce, roast potatoes and seasonal vegetables
Lamb shank in rosemary gravy with root vegetables
Pan fried tuna steak in a tomato sauce, new potatoes and seasonal vegetables
Vegetarian forest mushroom risotto

Desserts:
Hot christmas pudding with brandy sauce
Lemon cheesecake with mango puree
Selection of icecreams with chocolate sauce
Selection of cheese, biscuits, grapes and celery

Tea or coffee with Mince Pies £2.50

Booking will need to be made in advance, so can anyone interested please let me know ASAP & i can let the pub know numbers.

I would be nice if we could have some visitors present from over the Welsh Border or our bordering regions. All welcome! :D
