I was content tinkering with my flatheads,as you do,and chuging around on the trusty Ariel.I found this forum and joined the club and things were fine.
Then the fatal mistake,I went to the AGM and met a few of the people then went to the region AGM and met some more.
We talked bikes and rubish in general then Kev started talking about a new bike.I was with Andy,counting your money keeps you warm then you turn down the heating and save some more.
I have always been a bit er carefull
but never gone as far as "The wrong trousers" (you know who you are but Dave King and myself are sworn to silence).
Then the lads from the region are saying how about going here and I'm thinking I'll have some of that but what to go on.The Ariel,now no longer trusty but puking so becoming another project,is not realy on and it's a long slog to the Ace on a 45.
I'd always wanted a Duo-Glide but think I've missed the boat,would have to import,it would require work and,well,you see a theme here.
What I needed was a turnkey bike that I could ride now.
