Many thanks to everyone who turned up for the Farm Party .

I hope everyone had a good time and arrived home safe and sound.
There is no doubt that it is
you that make the party,
Your intention to have a good time, chill, chat and welcome new faces and families, make it what it is.
That’s what the Riders Club is all about.

Thanks to our good friends from the local Regions for their support, New Forest, Kent and the Black Country Harley Riders in particular. Great to see the IOW this year.
But as always…..a very special mention to the Motley Crew from Scotland who do 1000 mile round trips to get here. For many years the farm party was a one nighter , Friday chill night is down to them

.
Many thanks to the members of the Sussex Coasters and farm staff who work hard to put it all together and dismantle it afterwards.
Special thanks to Phil and Simon who worry about things as much as I do

.
Thanks to members of the 3 County Borders and Region 17 who managed the bar and stopped me giving beer away. There is no doubt that with the increased numbers we could have used another 3 barrels of bitter over the weekend.
You did manage to drink
10 barrels of Fosters.
6 barrels of Harveys Bitter + the entire cased stock of bitter from a local Tescos.
240 pints of our own Cider and whatever drink you brought yourselves.
Thanks to Ken and missis ken for the Grub wagon. A vast increase of partiers on Friday meant having to go for extra supplies on Saturday morning. Extra people on Saturday meant rationing late Saturday night so that we had supplies for breakfast Sunday. Kens food sales were up 30% this year, so our cut covered the 6 portaloos.
Thanks to Dennis and Jerry for sorting the electrics

.
Big thanks to Bexx for piloting the Coasters digital disco

.
Many thanks to the bands “ The Poachers “ and “ Mallard “, absolutely brilliant. I heard Freebird playing while I was on car park duty in the pouring rain , trying to make sure the 40ft milk tanker could get in to pick up the milk Saturday night, but got to dance to “Sweet Home Alabama “ later on. Both bands were fantastic

.
Thanks to everybody for using the bins, tidying up and putting their rubbish bags by the bins, saves us a lot of time clearing up

.
Thanks to my bosses for letting me take libertys with the farm.
And many thanks to the cows and neighbours for putting up with a weekends disruption.
Apologies…. for not being able to chat to as many as i’d like…..for as long as I’d like.
thanks for the PM's and see you at OZ, you are all fine people.
Congratulations for raising £580 for the Sallys Ride Charity
And £300 + for SERV.
We are going to have a breather from the Farm Party next year, but it will be back.
Its never been a numbers game and we don’t want it to lose its personal nature.
Hopefully you will support the clubs regional rallies.
Next year we are off to see our friends at the East Mids Rally which unfortunately the Party has clashed with for several years .
Oh ……and thanks to Kim
