I've heard that the council have agreed to let motorbikes go across Itchen bridge for free and they are setting up doing away with the charge this financial year. If we go the long way round (for us coming from the West) I could go up that Athelstone Road hill (if my bike will make it) and, at the top, I might be able to practice my hill start and turn right out of that junction too, hope there's no adverse camber AS WELL
