Re: Skittles

The various techniques used to knock over those infuriating skittles were a joy to behold. From blistering speed to flat cap and pipe Sunday driver . The highlight had to be the display of superior skill which enabled the individual to thread the ball between the skittles. It would appear to be an impossible task but to do it twice in successive balls is a wonder and the silence which descended on the room as the third ball trundled down the alley was almost as deafening as the Coasters tucking in to their food . However it was asking too much as Three skittles toppled over, blown over by the slipstream from the passing ball (or it may have been from the release of pent up breath from the spellbound watchers). Of course I refer to that bowling wizard Troy - we are unworthy
As for the winner, well what can I say. We had an initial playoff between Paul Parslow and Jane, which Paul in true ungentlemanly fashion came out on top (I wonder if I should edit that last bit ), only to find that there had been a error in counting and that Lucky Den had actually won by a landslide 1 point.
(I am not going to embarrass the person who did the counting by actually naming him, but for those going to the Xmas supper at Charlie Browns I advise that they check their bill carefully )

A great evening, thanks Ken for arranging it.
