I said the same last year when we rode from Hook to Denmark to the super rally and a lot of club members sailed from Harwich to Esbjerg Denmark to the rally.
But I will still cover 300 miles there and back so don't fret that I am in a riders club. I will be a lot more refreshed than you, and would of partied an extra night on the outward ferry Thursday and not be knackered for the Friday night. And a nice relaxed Sunday morning.
Plus I would have not spent any more Ł's overall than you with your 500 miles return ride once in France.
