We had a super ride out to Wadenhoe Sunday 26th April and had tea and cakes (would suit our Baffy
) in the village hall to help raise money for the Anglian Air Ambulance. The caretaker Bandana Bob said because of us they raised £100 for the charity (which is also our chosen charity as well)
Anyway as a spin off from this he asked if we would like to have a Indoor BBQ for us and our neighbouring HDRCGB regions at £7.50 per head again raising money for the Air Ambulance
He assures me there will be loads of grub
We are already having a Anglia Region static display for charity at Whittlesey's Park Lane School on Saturday 27th June between 2pm - 4pm so this could make a great way to finish the day with a ride out and BBQ at Wadenhoe
There is a pub next door so anyone that wants a pint or four can do so and we can even camp in the grass field opposite the hall for £1 per night
The other issue of parking will be resolved as he is chaining off the car park just for us
Well what do you think? It would be a great way to get Nick's side of the region over for a campover
