Thank you all very much for your messages and well wishes, and I got the card from the Lakes Squad too, all very much appreciated and helpful.
I'm still in at the moment and these bloody keyboards seem even harder work than before! Everything seems to have gone well. The Doc said it should take about 6hrs without complications, well, I thought could hardly hold my head up with the Harley crew if it was only a Mamby Pamby 6hrs! So apparently it was around the 6hr mark when I decided complications were in order to preserve my street cred. I managed to drag it out for the whole 12hr shift, so I am now officially Fooking Hard. If anyone was wondering what I had done, I had the Mother-in-Law removed from my arse
