If you have had the bearing changed more than once, & you have a Dyna or Bagger you may have a bigger issue.

With the bearing removed lightly fasten the inner primary to the engine & trans. Check that the trans main shaft is in the centre of the hole. It is obvious at a glance.

There was a machining issue on some 06`s & 7`s that did not centre the mainshaft in the bearing causing rapid wear & multiple failures. The bearing can fail at between 5 & 10 thousand miles.

We have seen quite a few of these. The only fix is to replace the tranny case & inner primary.

We have only seen this issue on Tourers & Dynas.
