As requested, I have organised a tour through some of the remotest parts of The Secret Kingdom that is Northumberland (Jessies take note, this makes Yorkshire look like Milton keynes
).
May have to adjust my route nearer the time, as a bridge is out on one section ( where the Alpacas live ) and what H.M. Forces are up to on the 28th.
I have arranged a lunch stop, similar to the one at Tan Hill for those that want to, but I need some idea of numbers as the landlord will have get extra provisions in by pack horse and rope bridge !
Meet at McDonalds car park Silver link, Wallsend (NE28 9ND) just off the A19 , a mile north of the Tyne Tunnel at 11.00 for 11.15 start. We will fuel up just near the meeting point, as there are not many petrol stations where we are going.
Hope we a big turn out, the more the merrier
