Hi Dodgy loner,
No Surprise there, Uploads have always been slower than down, I think it is sh1te as well, but it is another way to control files sharers. I am on virgin 2 MB which only gives 256K up. Since the government decided to log all internet and e-mail traffic in their data base I have decided to give them something to log, I have a web browser running that automatically selects a random page to open every 3 seconds, my e-mail program sends random mail to my web mail services, which for some reason send immediate responses back, mail boxes seem to be full. I do have to turn these off when I am playing online games or the kids want to use MSN, or Facebook, this is caused by the upload bandwidth being taken over by my background usage. If everyone starts to do this they'll have so much data they'll need a million guys just to check it all. Hey I just fixed the umemployment problem.
LOL
Cheers
Mick
PS if they made my upload bandwidth the same as the down, I could pick web pages 10 times a second and I'd need another 20 web mail accounts, and I could still play Cabalonline.
I use
