I paid a visit to Walesby Forest (venue for our 2009 International Rally) last saturday. My first visit was back in november and the place looked pretty good despite the weather. Seeing it in glorious sunshine showed what a really nice spot it is. It'll make a great setting for our 60th anniversary gathering. There was a marquee set up, which isn't as big as the one we will have, but gave an idea of how to lay out the field for traders/food etc. I've got an idea of where to stick the Hostility Tent to take advantage of facilities and see what's going on while relaxing with a cup of Darjeeling and a cucumber sarnie - crusts removed naturally. All in all it's looking pretty promising. I clocked almost exactly 200 miles from my place to the venue and it's a pretty easy ride on decent roads.

So let's have the best ever turnout from the Sussex Coasters at an International Rally in the H-DRCGB's 60th Anniversary year

Hopefully, I shall be travelling over on the Thursday night and arriving in the early hours on Friday. I shall of course be expecting the due respect and deference that is applicable to the Toasters N. I. rep!
