Only know them by reputation as a trad bike shop and that,up to 10 years ago at least,kept old Triumph parts on the shelf.
I'd always seek out the sawdust on the floor type places that have been there years as it's the owner who's getting his hands dirty and has to get it right to keep going.
Throw up a plate glass showroom and staff it with people that would just as soon sell cookers and it all goes wrong,however many cups of free coffee they give away,except they don't give it away,it's in the margins.
