Yes it will run slower but not as slow as a evo.
I think it picks up faster, and will run smother at lower revs,
Consumption is about the same at general speeds but uses more above 70 mls per hr I get a average of 10mls per ltr,
it starts easy , and in general a much nicer bike to ride.
I have now covered 20,000 after the carb conversion, and as i stated its now user friendly!!!
