Slightly mystified by this! Most Harleys I have heard ticking over slowly are doing so too slow for their own good. Correct tickover is around 1,000rpm, so if your bike is doing that leave the poor thing well alone!

Early fuel injection systems, on cars and bikes, were a bit ropey, so changing them for a carb was sort of understandable, but recent ones are much better. You have the latest available and should give it a chance.

And forget all about 'slow tickovers'!
