Ended up going to the Galleon , beautiful views and very chilled, great roads to get there as well - thanks for the recommendation trouble61.
Only negative was the rubbish service in the bar ( 40 minutes to deliver a pudding from the menu and they stopped serving coffee at 10pm) dissappointing considering the place was practically empty.
Ride next tuesday sounds good, will need to consult our diaries. If I can make it I'll let you know.
