Thanks to all who have offered advice etc.Not been able to take bike out this week but will tomorrow and see what happens!Gear box was shimed up and an andrews third gear was put in about 4 years ago by paul fitzpatrick at mmc tunbridge who has looked after me for years.The gear box was always very sweet and easy and even with the strange noise was still,lets hope it is tomorrow!!!Will inform what happens.What I really feel is nomatter what happens i cant not be a member of this club so if it means storing my old girl and finding something newish i will and thats because of the support and help received to date by you all .Thanks
