Yeh i know there are a few threads on this problem, but just thought i would get some up to date views and /or assistance.
Spent the last ten days in France, the pro's great roads, brilliant first two days spent with Paul and Sue and St Pol (I think most of you know where i mean) and fpr some of the time everything was ok.
Plan was to get to Chamonix. Rode through the mother of all thunder storms and thought I had shorted out my alarm? But thats a differents story. Some of you already know about how communicatios masts set off alarms and that disconnecting them before you travel might be your best option
Rode to Troyes HD to get alarm sorted and noted a rumble in the primary casing. Yup I have an 06 Dyna (FXDBi) already had it serviced (15,000 miles)
No they did not change out the bearing,
Yes, I know the dealers has been told not to do it anymore, and I have read all the threads.
The long and the short of all this is that one very expensive hotel stay and about £200 later we/I thought we were on our way with a new bearing. About another 1500 miles and the bloody rumble is back

.
I guess what i am asking is:
1 Am I going to get my money back from HD for the original job in France?
2 Will my local dealer do the job again free of charge and charge bloody Troyes HD in France? I suppose only me dealer can answer that one?
3 Has anyone else had this problem lately (aside from the previous threads on this issue)?
Sorry guys, but what was supposed to be a trip of a life time turned into a bloody expensive F*ck up, I am pissed whilst writing this. glad to be back home, but p*ssed off about my bike, and very broke
I have next week off to make a number of calls, but any up to date advice on this issue would be appreciated.
