Dead easy , M6 for most of you automatically runs into the A74M , despite the signs for glasgow M8 continue on the M74 till it automatically joins / merges into the M8 west , continue on the M8 till it ends at Greenock, this is where you will pick up the signs for Weymms Bay , you really cant miss the ferry terminal in the one horse town that is Weymms Bay.
