Anglia Meetings 2007

Hello Anglia faithfull
As you are now aware I have taken over as Anglia Rep with Tealess as Assistant Rep.
We have now changed our meeting place in the west of the region to The Plough, Farcet Fen,Pondersbridge, Peterborough.
Our first meeting will be FRIDAY 16th Feb. at 8PM SHARP in the Snug.
Now, you may well ask why there? well for a start its a Bike friendly pub and has regular friday night events throughout the summer.
If we coincide our meets once a month on a friday night then we also benefit from the bands what are laid on as well
The venue also has a Restaurant, large camping field with all facilities so if you have to travel far, you have the option to camp.Having the meets on a Friday night also leaves your weekends free for your family or any Sunday ride-outs that we may have planned! PLEASE TRY TO GET TO THE FIRST MEETING
For those of you in the EAST of ANGLIA we are trying to recruit another
Assistant Rep. to have meetings closer to where you live.We can then ride to your meeting point bi -monthly on a Sunday ride -out. Thats the plan, we shall see, its now all down to you good people....

Hi Foby Pleased you`ve stepped in(although it does look more like pressganged in the thread)
The new arrangements sound very good( when the weather gets a bit warmer) as I have to work some weekends the Friday idea sounds great, I would have to camp though as I have mentioned to you before its over 70 miles each way. If you organize any ride outs etc I will try to make any that I am not working.

I have finally got the man I wanted to look after the East of Anglia. Some of the regulars will know him well and he is a very competent person.I am very pleased to have him as an additional Assistant Rep.

If those of you in the East pm Kneetrembler im sure between you can arrange monthly meets/ride-outs closer to where he/you live
We this end will then meet up with you hopefully bi-monthly (weather permitting.
I hope this arrangement works and keeps everyone happy

Chilly,Bring as many mates as you can find !!! As for Trolls you are more likely to see a discarded Croc or in my case seeing a Puma
Dont worry about the locals they are harmless but have webbed feet and six fingers on each hand

I dont no if anyone as mentioned, but some of us are meeting up at suzzys cafe on the A17 for sunday lunch on sunday 25th feb. be nice to see anyone that turns up.
