We are planning to go to Black Bear at Newmarket for a look about, a coffee etc http://www.blackbear.co.uk/ (maps page on site) and then onto the pub for lunch, saturday 17/03/07. The above pub is biker friendly, they have a bike night now on a Tuesday evening, for jap bikes. The guv has a Harley and is very pleased about this maybe being used for a meeting place, so it would be great to have a good first show. Bike or car, either way. Good parking at the pub, lovely village etc. This will be a lovely ride out in summer. Meeting at circa 10.30am at the dealers, and then onto the pub, should leave BB about 11.30ish. The pub is very central to Bury St Edmunds, Newmarket, Sudbury and Haverhill. About 10 miles (ish) from each. All HDRCGB members or prospective members very welcome. | Re: Anglia East Meeting - 17/03/07 Stopping for breakfast at The Green Welly, The Roundabout, Chatteris 9.00am now first, then Black Bear 11am, then ride over to The Greyhound at Wichambrooke for din dins. The weather looks reasonable 12 degrees but snow next week so make the most of this ride out!!!!!!

| Re: Anglia East Meeting - 17/03/07 What a fantastic meet today and the weather to go with it - 16 bikes from our Region met up at Black Bear and then on to The Greyhound at Wichambrooke.Great to meet up with the East side members of the Anglia Region The landlord must have thought it was Xmas all over again Thanks to everyone who came and made it so enjoyable We will do it again soon, watch this space

Had to take my ride for a check over at Uppingham and they lent me a Rod so at least I got out and about a bit. That's something different to the Deuce for sure. The wind threw you about a bit though...comes from living in Flatlands Central eh...  |

I've got the Club membership form that you thrust upon me, so I will be filling it out in due course....I think the best time is around July if I remember correctly. Great day out...thank you. Brian.
