| MOT exhausts problems solved
Hi any one in the southeast having problems with exhausts at MOT time try Lings Honda at Harleston. They carry out MOT`s for P M Motorcycles (Independent Harley dealer) and have an arrangement about Noisy exhausts. They are not allowed to remove anything from your bike so if you tape up the `Not for road use` (I used electrical tape) you get a pass and an advisory note This is a lot cheaper than paying Blackbear to fit and remove standard mufflers. Please don`t shout about this to to many as this is a loophole that we will lose Nick |

"whispers VERY quietly* I've heard that some peeps buy a li'l eyetie Harley from the mid-70s, swipe the frame number and registration for their (newer) bike, and avoid all sorts of problems with exhausts and lack of indicators at MOT-time, as well as saving Ł100s of pounds on their insurance, and get unlimited mileage because their bike is now a 'classic'.
