Smile 27th August Bank holiday Wimbotsham

Hi AllI am working the weekend but off on the Monday so carnt make the big party. So I am planning to go to the Fenman Classic Bike Show at WIMBOTSHAM. I am sure I have the right day or I will be the only one there. Its just north of Downham Market. I go most years. There is a good turn out, stalls, food, pub and loads of bikes. Go right into the village dont park in the field they reserve for cars. Go to Wimbotsham Fenman Classic Bike Show - 29 August 2005 - By Joe Bridge and see pics from other years. Beware the kettle and pray for sun.Chris FXDX

What a great day at the Wimbotsham, Downham Market Bank Holiday Monday Classic Bike Show.Thousands of bikes there in every nook and cranny around the villageA must for classic bike lovers. Plenty of Harleys there too!!! One thing that shows how highly we are thought of by the villagers - six of us were struggling to find somewhere to park when a homeowner couple shouted across that we could all park in their garden When we came back to the bikes after looking at the show the couple went out of there way to make us all a cuppa with a plate of cake - now that is Fen hospitality
