Straw Bear Festival

Fancy a drink and a laugh at this dead time of the year then come to the Whittlesea Straw Bear Festival nr Peterborough on 12th January 2008.
Morris/molly dancers from all over the country/abroad come and follow the pagan Straw Bear round all the pubs in Whittlesey
And the pubs in question supply real ales for the day

Be at the market square, Whittlesey, just before midday this Saturday 12th January.
We can only make a short visit due to other commitments but good to see/take part and follow the morris dancers around all the pubs in Whittlesey
