I was told by someone in East Coast Harley that it has opened in the last day or so .. in Ber Street in the old BMW dealership, near Hein Gericke

Looks like it is Ber Street in the Lind BMW dealership, which would fit in as it would appear the Lind group own it and the Guildford one.
So yet another car dealer owning a H-D shop but if it's run like BMW there should be good service!

Don't know if it's open yet though.

It opened today - Norwich Harley-Davidson

Inside they have a dozen or so new bikes, some bolt on Live to Ride type stuff and some clothing (official Harley T shirts from about £20 to £30 - seems very excessive after paying $30 (£15 ish) for 3 in the US last week). I asked about servicing prices but was told they have not been sorted out yet. Did not appear to have any parts either.

Free coffee machine upstairs (not bad actually) and parking out the back that I did not see until after I paid to park on the street opposite.

I asked about opening hours and was told its Monday - Friday 9am - 6pm, 9-5 on Saturday.

Anyway to show them our gratitude we will have a ride out led by Tealess (im on holiday) to their Open Day on Saturday 6th September (weather permitting) times and meeting place to be announce nearer the date.

Hope they're a bit more personable than the sales staff at the new Lincoln shop.
We had a ride over today, just for a look around.
Three sales staff on...one busy with a customer...other two busy chatting in the corner.
We walked around the showroom and clothes floor for a good 20 minutes and not one of them bothered to acknowledge we were even in the place.
I don't think St Leger and Sycamores will have too much competition if that's the best they can muster.
(Their techie is a much more obliging fellow mind you but unfortunately he wasn't there today).
Maybe they think Harleys are so great that they just sell themselves eh!!!

The Norwich H.D shop does strike me more customer orientated having a BMW franchise next door as well. We shall see

Hi all i've up their several times now and found then very friendly they haven't got all the spare parts or accessoryries in place yet but they do have a work shop up and running now. It's a lot easier for me only a 30 mile round trip not 130mile to Black Bear. They are still young getting things right takes time hopefully they will. Kimbo
