Re: Bmf Show, Peterborough Showground

I was disappointed and this was my first BMF show.
The highlights for me were the events within the speedway track.
A few manufacturer stands were good.
If you needed helmets, boots or clothing it would have been worthwhile but I have everything I want at the moment.

I wanted tyres and could have found what I wanted if I had a sport bike but a 90/90 x 21 Avon I could not find.

OH but I did find a flyer from HDRCGB.

There was a trader (near to the inflatable slides and haunted house thingy) who had Whitewall Venoms in that size for £45!

Not a lot of good telling ya that now, I know, sorry!

Foby
I take it you are somewhere in the Fens.
I am at the northern edge of them near Lincoln but bought my bike early last year from Black Bear. Some nice rides here over the Wolds.

Re: Bmf Show, Peterborough Showground

That's on my regular rides.
I can see Bardney from home and the Bardney, Horncastle to Willingham Woods and back home via Wragby and Bardney is about a once a week ride when the weather is good.

Where do you meet, Turnors Arms?

Check with yoiur local tyre factors first.
I get my Contis from Bush in Horncastle a lot cheaper than a bike shop, they fit & ballance them for me too.
