Today the FLT was in for its MOT.

Some of you will know about the various niggles that held this up, as I said to Brian at the BMF "You're right, I can fix it, but it's not just nuts and bolts. There are also pieces of wire".

Well that's all behind us now.


It was a bright sunny morning when I left home at 0740 for the 0800 appointment.

I am deliriously happy to report that at 0840 the FLT gained its MOT (at 0915 she also got Taxed)




I'm still grinning.

Soham Bike Show
Location:The Cherry Tree, Soham
Time:10.00 to 23:55:00
this is a charity event for MAGPAS. bike show with trophies for Best in Show, Best Custom, Best Rat, Best Trike, Best Cruiser, Best Classic and Best Street Fighter with results between 4pm-5pm. With live bands EGYPT, TEA, AKIMBO plus supporting bands starting at midday.

Admission is £4 each or £5 each for camping. There is ample parking with large field for camping, licensed bar with food available and numerous trade stalls.

Looks good, and very local to me.

It's about time you got a 'proper' bike on the road. Now there's no excuses for not joining the convoy as we pass Chatteris on the way to the Plough.

I'm going to try getting to Soham too, and as I'll be being dropped off so I can partake of a few bevvies and other related social - ermmm - things, it'll have to be you that sees me, as I doubt I'll be able to see much at all.
