Re: 30th & 31st August Skylark A141 Country Show

Dear Brian,
Please forgive me if this doesent sound right, I have never wrtiiten a dear Brian letter before.
So, Dear Dangerous (is this your new name, or is it still up for votes by the HDRC Synod?) I was very sorry to, hear of your recent troubles and upset. Having been ordered home on Saturday night by the wife, I missed this horndous event. It’s sad to say that only 50% of bikers are real bikers, who nod and wave regarless of make, model or style. The other half is made up of MCBA’s and YAT’s (midlife crisis born agians and young arrogant t*s*e*s). Of this group 10% have a mental affliction which makes them corner at twice the speed of sound and urges them to overtake anything in front of them, even if they are pulling in 10 yards later. (I have had this done to me and nearly rammed the idiot up the jacksey when he amazingly pulled into his driveway after overtaking me 10 yards back). The other remaining 90 % may know how to ride in a straight line or enjoy popping wheelies in front of schoolgirls, but they can’t go around corners. Instead of anger, you should turn the other cheek and feel sorry for this pathetic bunch of losers. You should joyfully console yourself that they are going around corners at only half the speed you do on your little ole Road King.
I therefore suggest that I start a charity to educate these saddloe's, teaching them how to dress, how to behave, how to wave and how to act when around real bikers. I will have NickJ do a course on how to chamfer exhaust bolts on the tarmac and how to ride in rain that would stop the Titanic from sailing. Chroming lessons by Brian would also be obligatory as would the wearing of tassels and usage of whitewall tyres.
The charity will be called Counselling, Undermining & Nurturing Tossers. I’m not sure if I can use just the initials as it sounds quite rude.
If every member of the HDRC sends me as much money as they can, I promise that after deducting money for a new Road King and a week in Sturgis, I will spend the rest on their personal education and become a missionary to convert them from Rice burning crotch rockets to American v’s.
I would ask pople to be quick as I only have 11 months to prepare for Sturgis.

Re: 30th & 31st August Skylark A141 Country Show

Thanks Chris M for organising the club stand and doing the brekky with Caroline and friends at the Skylark show
I think everyone had a great time and we even got a ferret named Harley after the public enjoyed our antics so much
At our peak we had 26 bikes on the club stand which shows how good this region is at getting together.
Thanks to everyone that took part and welcome to the new faces that came along

Hi all
I have written on behalf of all of us thanking Skylark.
Also asked if we could extend the invite to other members of HDRCGB and the committee.
