Re: Sallys Charity Coastal Ride

My Irene spoke to Sally this morning - slight hiccup with one of the lead bikes so will be slightly late. She is hoping to be at Hunstanton for 11am - 11.15am so work out the rest of the route timings.
Her mobile is 07958032149 but you will have more of an idea as you live that way Mike
See you at Sunny Hunny

Re: Sallys Charity Coastal Ride

Good luck to sally and Richard for the trip.

I really had hoped to join you today as I live only a few miles from Hunstanton but didn't know until last night if I would be able to make it or not, unfortunately I couldn't

I hope you guys and gals had a good ride out, atleast the sun is shining

I will try and get to the next region meet and catch up with you all then.

Tim

Re: Sallys Charity Coastal Ride

What a pain after all the planning a sensor on a Honda shot all the timings and made the rides a bit of a rush.

Still I am sure Sally was impressed with the turnout and the applause that greeted our arrival at Hunstanton.(I know I was)
Despite being three and a half hours late you were all in good humor and lifted Sallys spirit after a trying day.

I think it was Hamish who I went back for he assured me it only needed to cool down so I tried to catch you before Kings Lynn but did`t make it.

Still the sun shone the roads were good as was the company.

Nick

Re: Sallys Charity Coastal Ride

An excellent day - like you said Nick we were twiddling our thumbs for four and a half hours waiting for Sally and her entourage, but thats what makes our members so special

Anyway it makes me proud to say that we collected £88.68 for Sallys charity at The Lighthouse Cafe, Hunstanton.

Thanks to everyone who took part and who had to give up a valuable day at work to come on the ride - I think the sun shining might have helped though

Re: Sallys Charity Coastal Ride

Well done guys - you did the club proud - she had a cracking day which even included ice cream at Skeggy !!

I think you guys gave her big boost after the aggro from the Honda, when i left her at Grimsby this evening she was still bursting with happiness.

well done again and big thanks

Re: Sallys Charity Coastal Ride

Hi All,

It was me (well the bike actaully) that got too hot. Thanks to you all for thinking of me and to Nick for coming back to check all was indeed OK.
Bike just need 15 minutes to cool off before restarting.

Had a great day with you all, although for some reason my work colleagues are referring to me as "Swan Vesta" :

Should have brought the sun screen

See you at the Plough, week on Friday.
