Monday 25th August

Fenland Classic Motorcycle Day, Wimbotsham - A day out for all riders. The village of Wimbotsham nr Downham Market, Norfolk, hosts the Classic Bike Show. If you've been before, you already know that the village (seems to be) only open to bikes for day.

Saturday & Sunday 30/31st August (camping Friday 29th)

Skylark Country Show - Manea Road, Wimblington, March, Cambs. We're having a club stand. Camping for those attending on Friday & Saturday night. Music, food and drink (not free, unfortunately) laid on for exhibitors (that's us). Steam engines, classic cars, tank rides, all sorts of stuff going on all weekend, including Ferret racing, so maybe we'll finally get to see just how fast Foby can run. Sunday 31st August

Ipswich Annual Charity Ride out - Starting from the Orwell Crossing Truck Stop on A14 (east bound), assemble from 9-00am depart 10-30am, approx 50 miles to the Beaconsfield Arms at Occold, nr. Eye, Suffolk. Donations £5 per. bike please. Proceeds in aid of "CLIMB" a charity helping children with gene disorders. Refreshments available at start and finish. Organised by Ipswich Triangle MCC.

Essex Region 25th Anniversary Poker Run rally - Mersea Island Youth Camp, Mersea, nr. Colchester, Essex, CO5 8SX. A rally, a bar, a poker run, a bar, four bands, a bar, real loos AND showers, food, did I mention a bar yet? £15 for members, £20 for non. Rally flyer link

Central South's (Northern) monthly meet - at the Phoenix, Queen Catherine Road, Steeple Claydon, Buckingham from 8pm.

20/21st September

BMF Tail End End of Season Party - East of England Showground, Peterborough, Cambs. One of the more laid back events in the BMF calendar and plays host to an array of fun attractions and more live music than any of our other shows. Evening entertainment has already been confirmed and those who stay for the weekend will be partying the nights away to a fabulous line up. Friday night will see those crazy locals ‘League of Mental Men’ grace the stage and Saturday evening ‘Crash’ James Toseland’s band who will be headlining supported by local lads ‘Sirius’. The Battle of the Bands competition will be back by popular demand, showcasing some of the best amateur bands on the circuit and give the day time crowds a chance to cast their votes and get involved. Camping opens at 2pm on Friday 19th September until 6pm on Sunday 21st September. Main arena entertainment, 100’s of trade stands, good food and like minded company. Flyer link
