| 8/9/10 August - Mike's Farm Party Nr Hastings, East Sussex. See Diary thread for details Anyone going? I'm heading down there, so if anyone else is thinking of making the trek, reply on here and we'll try to make plans. My initial thoughts are a gentle saunter down through the byways of this green and pleasant land, or a ruckin' great blast down the concrete highways we call motorways. YUK. Am intending to go down early/mid/late afternoon of the Friday, and I can choose my route, nothing fixed at present. Baff

| Re: 8/9/10 August - Mike's Farm Party Well, sissy bar's fitted, the bike's loaded with tent, sleeping bag & groundsheet, just havta remember to stick some clothes and.... more clothes? in the panniers before setting off on Friday. Haven't felt as excited as this since...... hmmm, when was I last excited? Oh yeah, December 2006, when I bought the beastie home. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, as I sat here typing, the ferkin rain started AGAIN! Hope Friday is dry, I hate riding to somewhere in the rain. Riding back doesn't seem to be quite as bad though.

If you get your tent up in a reasonably secure mode your on your way to HOG. If its all fuckin wobbly and you dont give a fuck maybe you should look at the harley riders club?  With some good grass ( to lay on officer) and a bottle of finest bourbon (to look at officer) you wont care to much til the weekends over and the wife says you stink.  |
