Friday night was a cracking night, I almost danced (after several beers)

Kim turned up with a gottee which was obviously stolen form Santa, Steve did a combination of river dance and a dutch clogg dance with one of the regulars, whilst Nick, Baff & Darren did the nodding head dance.

I would just like state to all concearned that Baff had to put his hand in his pocket several times as the free beer that he expected did not materialise.

Agreed. 'Twas a crackin' night, spoilt only by Nick's (not completely unexpected) refusal to buy beer. Good to see you all.

I thought the band's set was brill, if only they were good enough to have played them all. Even walking through the other bar to take a piss meant listening to The Stones and Free. A good pub for the Christmas 'do' indeed.

I think we agreed that Chris and Kim are going to go out & buy tents, Steve's going to actually get to a rally, and Darren's going to get a dog-sitter so he can come out to play. Nick promised no more rain dances, and to organise a series of 'Eastern' meetings so we can all meet up with the guys from the other side of the region.
