i was just wondering if their was many harleys around the cambridge area as i need someone to hold my hand: if i do decide to take to the road and go to club meets etc..

I'm in Burwell, and I'm getting out and about more this year. Regional meets (at the Plough and on the East Coast), day runs, rallies, the French trip. Drop me a PM if you wanna get out, or need a '(metaphorical) hand holding session.

sweet,soon as you boys are ready for a jaunt im ready,went out yesterday, my day off for a spin and got totally lost i i went through baldock hitchen stevenage then turned right and picked up the a10 near puckridge i was like a pig in shit i dident want to come home, ive had my fxdci about a month and thats the longest spin ive had,roll on spring

Yep,...get involved with the Anglia bunch. We do some good rideouts and shows. 2009 looks to be a good year for us with the shows we've got planned. They're all fairly local. We'll no doubt be going over to Lowestoft this year to see the eastern half of our region. We did it last year and it was probably the best rideout I've been on.

I'm from Cambridge and ride a Road King...I'm not into holding hands tho.
Take a trip to Blackbear on a Saturday, there's always some local friendly faces there. Just get involved, you won't regret it.

yeah brian i was in bb last sat afternoon us butchers have to work sat morning,
it was quite busy i had a coffee, broused a bit, got myself a battery cover ,their was a couple of tourers outside,the problem with places like this is i feel compelled to buy something ,im in cherry hinton by the way

If you join the Club and get a membership card....I believe someone set up a discount thing with Blackbear. You should get 10% then.

I'm in Cottenham, but the Road King is tucked up and fast asleep until MOT time which is late March. I know...fair weather rider . I might get a couple of thousand on it before she goes back into hibernation again next winter.
